Most people don’t know about the fact that misuse of a car horn is a huge offense in some areas. I once heard back then in some years back that you can’t blow car horn anyhow in Chandigarh, India because o fit causes noise pollution. But first, what do we mean by the word; misuse of a car horn?

What is the misuse of a car horn?
Misuse of car horns can be defined as the act whereby a driver just horns anyhow without following the legal rules of using horns. However, horns are supposed to be used on highways or express where you have to notify the car in front that you’re coming so as not to overtake unknowingly.

• At the time you blow your car horn annoyingly, and then you have misused your car horn because a car horn is used to alert any car of any mistake or to leave the way.
• Car horn is not a toy, so if by any chance you start to pres the car horn like you are playing games, then in such a way you are misusing your car horn and it’s illegal.
• In most places such as restricted areas, then it’s illegal to blow your car horn because it may be a punishable offense. Therefore, in a restricted area do not blow the horn as it may result in misuse of your car horn.
